Testing of a blended learning pathway and the associated development of e-learning modules within the social medicine curriculum for working as a medical expert in the area of statutory pension insurance - SoCuMed-E-Learn
Background
The medical practice within the social medical services of the German Pension Insurance (DRV) requires a wide range of specialized skills due to the complexity of the issues addressed. To develop these competencies, the structured induction and continuing education for the physicians working there will be improved through a blended learning approach.
Methods
In this context, appropriate e-learning modules are being developed for the topics "Pension due to reduced earning capacity" and "Communication in medical assessments." These modules will be implemented and formatively evaluated within a blended learning path.
