Development and formative evaluation of an online information platform for persons with rehabilitation needs and psychological distress or work-related problems - REHA PASST
Background
The German statutory pension insurance has developed special medical rehabilitation programs for individuals with rehabilitation needs and additional psychological distress (behavioral medical rehabilitation) as well as for persons with pronounced work-related problems (e.g., long periods of sick leave; work-related medical rehabilitation). There are currently no patient-oriented information resources available for either of these special forms of rehabilitation.
Aims and goals
Therefore, the aim of the project is to develop and evaluate the online information platform www.reha-passt.de for individuals with rehabilitation needs, as well as for doctors and other healthcare professionals in rehabilitation facilities and primary care.
Methods
The multimethod formative evaluation includes interviews with rehabilitation patients of various indications, an online evaluation by website users, and the development of strategies for further development and dissemination of the platform into routine care.
