Registration for adults
Every adult patient with an anxiety disorder can contact either the specialized outpatient clinic of the Department of Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (PPP) or the university outpatient clinic. After an initial consultation, if necessary, the patient will be transferred from one facility to the other, so that each patient can receive the appropriate therapy.

Office hours of the secretariat:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 7:30 to 16:00
Wednesday from 7:30 to 15:30
Friday from 7:30 to 13:30
How to find us
The Outpatient Clinic of Psychiatry is located in the Center of Mental Health, in the Grombühl district, at Margarete-Höppel-Platz 1. The clinic can be reached by streetcar lines 1 and 5 in the direction of Grombühl from Würzburg main station. The clinic is about five minutes' walk from the Wagnerplatz stop. You can easily find your way around using the site plan.

Registration and appointments can be made during the admissions consultation by phone at +49 931 3182839.
Monday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am
Wednesday from 12:00 to 13:00
Thursday from 18:00 to 19:00

Initial telephone consultation
In this first telephone conversation, we will take up your request and discuss with you whether our outpatient therapy offer is suitable for you. We will then make an appointment for a face-to-face consultation with a certified psychotherapist from the outpatient clinic team. During this meeting, you will have the opportunity to get detailed information about the therapy options available to you, and we will get a detailed overview of your situation. This enables us to agree together on which treatment offer of the university outpatient clinic is suitable for you.
However, due to the very high demand, we cannot guarantee a place in our therapy program in advance!
How to find us
The university outpatient clinic for psychotherapy is located in the immediate vicinity of the train station. From there, walk towards the city center. After you have crossed the crosswalk with traffic lights, go straight ahead into Kaiserstraße. There you turn into the first small street on the right. You will find the entrance on the right hand side under number 9-11.

Registration for children and adolescents
Children and adolescents with anxiety disorders should contact the outpatient clinic of child and adolescent psychiatry directly. Registration and appointments can be made during the office hours of the secretariat:
Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 16.30 pm and
Friday from 8:00 to 12:00

In case of emergency
In severe cases, inpatient behavioral therapy is required. The registration for an anxiety disorder treatment for adults must be made by telephone directly at the ward 5-East of the PPP by the patients themselves. The admission date is arranged after an outpatient preliminary consultation.
