- Weekly interdiscipliary, pre- und posttherapeutical tumorboards
- Interdisciplinary development and coordination of individual multimodal treatment strategies based on latest international guidelines and scientific developments
- Early detection and diagnostics of prostate cancer: digital-rectal examination, PSA-test, ultrasound diagnostics, transrectal ultrasound, elastography, transrectal biopsy of the prostate, CT- and MRI-scan, bone scintigraphy, PET-diagnostics (PSMA-/Choline-PET)
- Curative prostate cancer treatment: radical prostatectomy (retropubic, perineal, nerve sparing), robot assisted radical prostatectomy (daVinci)
- Radiotherapy (IMRT, IGRT, brachytherapy (LDR, HDR))
- Treatment of metastatic prostate cancer in interdisciplinary cooperation with the departments of Medicine II, Radiation Oncology and Palliative Medicine and Nuclear Medicine. Inclusion of patients in clinical trials.
